Weber CARES (Second Round) Grant Program General Information

The State of Utah has distributed a portion of its Coronavirus Relief Fund provided by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ("CARES Act") to Utah's counties and municipalities through a population-based formula.

In an effort to distribute this funding, Weber County has partnered with Farr West City, Huntsville Town, Hooper City, Marriott-Slaterville City, North Ogden City, Plain City, Pleasant View City, Riverdale City, Roy City, South Ogden City, Uintah City, Washington Terrace City and West Haven City to launch the Weber CARES - Coronavirus Relief Grant Program (Second Round.)

Weber CARES (Second Round) will launch on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.

The application period will CLOSE on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Please note: Businesses located in Ogden City or Harrisville City are not eligible to apply for this Weber CARES program as these cities have chosen to facilitate their own programs. Please contact the appropriate city for more information.

Purpose: The goal of the Weber CARES program is to assist businesses, located in unincorporated Weber County and the partnering cities, which have been negatively affected and suffered economic hardship due to business interruption during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding: Weber CARES grant applications will be awarded until all available funds have been exhausted.

Anticipated Grant Amounts:

  • Small businesses (less than $15 million in revenue and fewer than 100 employees): $2,000 - $35,000

  • Medium and Large Businesses: up to $100,000
